This "Little Friskies" bag was my response to the Quilters' Challenge at our getaway. The rules stated that recycled fabrics and "materials" could be used. I need to credit the Fall 2010 issue of Quilts and More for the idea. The possibilities are endless. You could use a large dog or bird seed bag to hold wrapping paper. My machine had no trouble handling the plastic coated paper. What FUN!
My New Year's Resolution...
...was to create my own blog. With some prompting and instruction from quilty friend, Bonnie Hunter...SUCCESS!!! My goal is to document, solicit advice, and just share all things artistic from my little corner of our crafty basement. If you think about it, do you remember what you worked on at that last Quilt Getaway or which stamp set you used for your card club Valetine's Day swap last year? I don't. I also want to see how my tastes in fabric and paper crafting change over time. Welcome to my ZOO!
